It’s almost here! We are approaching the election on November 5th, and there are 4,873,357 active voter registrants in Washington. Are you one of them? If not, we highly encourage you to click here to register to vote. It’s not too late – you can register to vote online or by mail until 8 days before the election. Filling out the form takes just a few minutes and you will receive your ballot along with all other registered voters beginning October 18th.

Why does it matter? Washington voters also will choose the next:

We have the opportunity to change the course of this state during the General Election. Need guidance? We help make it easy. For guidance on voting for conservative and biblically based initiatives and candidates, we offer three guides here: Pastor’s Picks, iVoterGuide, and Conservative Ladies of Washington.

In addition to those key offices above, the very first items on your ballot will be the Four Initiatives. We’ve extensively covered the Four Initiatives from Let’s Go Washington that will be on your ballot that would greatly improve your quality of life if passed, and here’s a sneak peek of the ballot (picture from Michael Easton):

Be not deceived! Notice the misleading wording on the Four Initiatives that could sway uneducated voters to cast a “no” vote by confusion alone. The truth is simple: All four initiatives will profoundly protect families across Washington. The government simply needs to stop their runaway spending, and stop taking more and more money from people. These are not controversial, partisan initiatives – they are for the people, by the people… and Washington’s elected officials don’t like that! We need YOU to cast informed votes in favor of the Four Initiatives to account for uneducated voters and those who may be swayed by the negative wording on the ballot. Vote Yes on all Four Initiatives. Every vote counts.

Important election dates from the Washington’s Secretary of State are listed below:

As Christians, God calls us to be the salt and light of our communities (Matthew 5:16) and promote the welfare of the city in which we live (Jeremiah 29:7). Christians not only have a patriotic duty to participate in elections but a biblical responsibility to do so as well.

We cannot overemphasize the importance of every single conservative Christian voting on November 5th. Our state is not a lost cause – your vote matters. There are over 1.7 million conservatives in Washington. If we can mobilize those voters, we have the power to change the landscape of our state’s political climate, and we even have the power to turn the tide of the presidential election. Will you join us in energizing fellow believers to engage in the political process on November 5th by exercising our constitutional right to vote?
