Committee: Local Government, Land Use & Tribal Affairs

The Senate Local Government, Land Use, and Tribal Affairs Committee considers issues relating to the Growth Management Act and the Shoreline Management Act, including land use planning and permitting. The committee also considers issues relating to the operation of counties, cities, and some special purpose districts, including municipal water, sewer, solid water, and recycling.  The committee also considers Tribal issues unrelated to other policy committees.
