We have compassion toward every person, but not toward every political agenda.
To Our Defenders!
You are invited to join us for “Rattle in Seattle,” a rally defending religious liberty, free speech, and the innocence of children. The rally also will call for the resignation of Mayor Bruce Harrell.
It’s the front-page story on MyNorthwest:

And the story made national Fox News:

Don’t Mess With Our Kids
The call for a rally comes from a conflict on Saturday, May 24th, against peaceful, permit-abiding worshipers at Seattle’s Cal Anderson Park. The event was called “Don’t Mess With Our Kids,” and it boldly stood against transgenderism.

Twenty-three Antifa protesters were arrested:

The Seattle Times reported the story with a questionable headline:

Fascist Family Values
At the Saturday event in Seattle, the protesters called our values “Fascist Family Values” and declared “Keep Your Bibles Off Our Bodies!”

The reporter Jonathan Choe recorded the conflict first-hand:

Choe sums up his observations:

Taking Action: The Rally at Seattle City Hall
The event at Seattle City Hall is co-sponsored by our friend Pastor Russell Johnson of The Pursuit NW. He writes:
“Mayor Harrell had the audacity to issue a press release blaming Christians for the premeditated violence of Antifa which resulted in the hospitalization of Seattle Police Department personal and the arrest of 23 Antifa agitators.
“Under Mayor Harrell’s leadership, the city of Seattle has continued its spiral into lawlessness and dysfunction while the first amendment rights of citizens to peacefully assemble has been disregarded.”
Pastor Russell continues:
“Seattle deserves better than a radical leftist who tramples on the religious freedoms of citizens while providing cover for violent extremists to abuse police officers, attack Christians, and destroy a city.”
We agree. As Defenders, now is the time to take action in person and on the steps of Seattle City Hall. We stand for religious liberty, for the freedom of speech, and to allow people to live out their faith in the public square without fear, without intimidation, and without violence.

The event is at Seattle City Hall at 5pm on Tuesday, May 27th. See you there for speeches and worship!
Defending the family,
Brad Payne, President
