Time to Vote! The Important Role of Christians

To Our Defenders!

It’s time to vote, and let our voices be heard.

Our votes will have a profound impact upon who represent us in office. As the Daily Citizen points out: “If self-professed followers of Christ voted, they would have the power to single-handedly change the course of our nation.”

This is certainly true for local elections, too! We will be voting for local positions that often impact our daily lives the most, including:

• City Mayor
• City Council Members
• County Council Members
• School Board Members
• Fire Commissioner

More Influence During An Off-Year Election

In fact, during this off-year election in Washington State, there’s an even greater incentive to vote.

There are 4.4 million eligible voters in our state, and since fewer people vote in off-year elections, then our votes will have an even greater impact on the final results. With your single vote, it’s like a “2-for-1” or even “3-for-1” impact.

Ballot Drop Boxes

The Primary Election deadline is Tuesday, August 5th, 2025. Ballots need to be submitted by 8pm to a Ballot Drop Box. There are 476 boxes across our state. To find a Ballot Drop Box, click here or the image below:
